Aims and Objectives
The Wyre parnership provides a mechanism to bring together local people, business, community, voluntary and public organisations, to promote the economic, social and environmental well being of the area.
Membership Group Structures and Terms of Reference
The Chairperson - is independant of statutory agencies, none political, living, working or with a demonstrable interest in Wyre.
The Partnership Board - has representation from the private, public, community and voluntary sectors and ensures the aims and objectives of the Wyre Strategic Partnership are met.
The Strategy Group - is a multi agency group, bringing together the policies, plans and strategies to achieve the aims and objectives of the Wyre Strategic Partnership.
Steering Groups - represent the interests of the following sectors: Business; Rural Parish and Towns; Community Groups; Voluntary Groups.
Themed Groups - include Community Safety, Economic Well-being, Health Housing & Social Well-being, Environment & Planning and Lifelong Learning.
Community Plan
Wyre Partnership will produce a Community Plan which sets out the aspirations of the people of Wyre over the next ten years. The first draft of the plan will be available by Autumn 2003. Contributions and ideas are welcomed during the current consultation phase.
